Store Closed as of December 20th
Dear Loyal Customers & Friends!
It is with great sadness and profound emotion that we announce that we have closed our business. With 50 years in the business and 32 of those in Middletown, Giovanni feels like now is the right time to retire and enjoy the fruits of his labor. He's looking forward to spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
From Brooklyn to Middletown, NY, one can say we are the true story of immigrants fulfilling the American Dream. Our goal was always to pour our hearts into our food and provide our customers with top notch, quality Italian specialties, as well as old school customer service. We are tremendously proud of what we have accomplished in Middletown thanks to you.
We have made many memories and lasting friendships throughout the years and have most recently come to enjoy new customers that helped keep our small business afloat during the Coronavirus pandemic. We are eternally grateful for that. All of these fond memories and relationships are things that we truly value and will miss dearly.
A very special thank you to our employees, especially Giovanni’s previous partner and brother Domenick, his sons John Jr. and Michael, daughter Lisa, friends Orlando and Christine and of course Momma Papandrea, for all of the hard work and dedication they have put forth throughout the years.
Until we close, we will be offering a limited menu and will post our menu on Facebook. Unfortunately, we will not be carrying ALL of the Christmas specialty items.
Please continue to follow us on Facebook as we are also working on a new website which will allow you to purchase Giovanni’s Balsamic Vinegar and imported Olive Oil from Calabria, Italy from your phone or home. We hope to accomplish this in the near future so please be patient with us.
Although our doors will be closed, the business is currently for sale. Please contact Realtor John McCarey at 845-978-2000 for more information.
From the Papandrea Family, thank you for your support throughout the years and especially now, during this time of change.
WE WILL MISS ALL OF YOU! GOD BLESS.
