John and Domenick Papandrea were both born in Calabria, which is located in the Southern part of Italy. In 1967, the two brothers migrated to America along with their parents and other siblings. They settled in Brooklyn, New York. Here, they spent very little time in school and more time working in order to help pay for rent and put food on the table.

At the young age of 16, John became a manager and used these skills to open his very own store at the age of 18. A few years later, Domenick followed with a store of his own. In 1988, they united in Middletown, New York, where they opened their present store location. Since then, they have been proudly serving their customers the finest quality of imported specialties from Italy. They use generation-old recipes in all of their prepared foods.

Famous Deli-Licious Italian Pork Store is a family owned and operated business that has had great success over the years. All employees are well trained and dedicated to providing their customers with excellent service. John Jr., who is also part of the staff, has also devoted many years to the store. He is committed to following the footsteps of his father and uncle.
